About the MRC National Summit

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is pleased to host the MRC National Summit, May 22 to May 24, 2024, in Chicago, IL. This conference is made available through NACCHO’s cooperative agreement with the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC).

The theme of the conference, “The Power of Community, Collaboration, and Connection: MRC Leading the Way for the Next 20 Years,” will provide an opportunity to reflect on the successes of the network’s growth and value during the first 20 years and discover ways to expand our reach in communities to position the network for continued excellence.

The MRC National Summit will provide leaders a place to learn from their peers based on the foundation of the MRC Factors for Success, explore topics that support the diversity of the network, advance your skillset, and takeaway practical strategies to support your MRC program. In addition, this Summit will allow unit leaders and MRC state coordinators to connect with colleagues, share peer to peer best practices from the COVID-19 pandemic, and share resources that enhance unit capabilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from future pandemics, disasters, and emergencies.
